Friday, Feb. 22, at the Bob Carpenter Center the Center for Black Culture (CBC) and the Cultural Programming Advisory Board (CPAB) presented noted author and poet Dr. Maya Angelou as the featured speaker for the Black History Month Extravaganza. The New Castle Canaan Baptist Choir opened the event.
