How to Extract Images from Microsoft Word Documents

Post by Admin »

If you have a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) with images in it , and you want to extract those separately from your document, the easiest way is to save the document as a web page.

Open your document in Word > click on Save As > click on Other Formats.

Now from Save as type: select Web Page. Do not save as Web Page, Filtered. It will open the images with low quality.

Click on Save.

Now in your folder you will see two new icons: one is a html document and the other one is a folder with the same file name.

Click on the folder to open it. You will find all your images saved as single files (either as .jpg or in other formats). Click on to open them.

That's it.

Have fun :-) .
